About Chardham Tour Packages
The Char Dham Yatra is a sacred Hindu pilgrimage that takes devotees to four revered shrines in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. The yatra is considered a journey to the abodes of the gods, where pilgrims can attain spiritual enlightenment and salvation.
DAY 01 - WELCOME TO HARIDWAR.
Pick up from railway station. (by auto rickshaw)
• Start drive for Haridwar and check in at hotel
• In evening visit the Ganga Ceremony at Har ki Pauri.
• Stay overnight at Haridwar.
DAY 02 - HARIDWAR - BARKOT. (190 KMS / 7-8 HOURS)
• Morning after breakfast, check out from hotel & drive for Barkot via Mussoorie.
• Visit Mussoorie way places like Prakaseshwar Mahadev & Kempty Fall.
• Evening visit Barkot village (by walk).
• Check in your hotel & overnight stay at Barkot.
DAY 03 - BARKOT - JANKICHATTI - YAMUNORI - JANKICHATTI - BARKOT.
(50 KMS DRIVE & 10 KMS TREK MORNING 5:00 AM TO RETURN 7-9 PM APPROX.)
• Morning after breakfast drive for Jankichatti.
• Start your trek to Yamunotri (by walk, horse, pony or dolly on your expense).
• Visit Yamunotri temple & return trek to Jankichatti, Later drive towards the Barkot.
• Overnight stay at Barkot.
ABOUT YAMUNOTRI
Yamnotri is the first stop on the Char Dham Yatra. Located at an altitude of 3,293 meters, Yamnotri is situated in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, the river goddess.
– Temple: The Yamnotri temple is a simple yet elegant structure, surrounded by majestic mountains and lush green forests.
– Hot Springs: Yamnotri is famous for its natural hot springs, which are believed to have healing properties.
– Pooja and Rituals: Pilgrims offer prayers and perform rituals at the temple, including the sacred Surya Kund and Divya Shila.
DAY 04 - BARKOT - UTTARKASHI. (95 KMS / 4-5 HOURS)
• Morning after breakfast, check out from hotel & Drive towards Uttarkashi.
• Visit on the way places and reached at Uttarkashi.
• Check in your hotel & overnight stay at Uttarkashi
DAY 05 - UTTARKASHI - GANGOTRI - UTTARKASHI. (200 KMS /4 HOURS UP-4 HOURS DOWN)
• Morning after breakfast Drive for Gangotri.
• Visit on the way places like Tapt Kund (Hot water spring) & Harshali village (Beautiful
valley)
• Visit Gangotri temple & later drive back to Uttarkashi.
• Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
ABOUT GANGOTRI
Gangotri is the second stop on the Char Dham Yatra. Located at an altitude of 3,100 meters, Gangotri is situated in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Ganga, the river goddess.
– Temple: The Gangotri temple is an 18th-century structure, built by the Nepalese general Amar Singh Thapa.
– Bhagirathi River: Gangotri is the source of the Bhagirathi River, which is considered the actual source of the Ganges.
– Pooja and Rituals: Pilgrims offer prayers and perform rituals at the temple, including the sacred Ganga Aarti.
DAY 06 – UTTARKASHI - GUPTKASHI / SITAPUR. (190 KMS / 7-8 HOURS)
• Morning after breakfast, check out from Uttarkashi hotel & Drive for Sitapur/ Guptkashi
• Check in your hotel & overnight stay at Sitapur /Guptkashi.
DAY 07 - SITAPUR /GUPTKASHI - GAURIKUND (16 KMS TREK/8-9 HOURS) TO KEDARNATH.
(ROOM SHARING ON 4/6/8 BASIS IS COMPULSARY WITH LIMITED
FACILITIES)
• Morning after breakfast, check out from hotel & Drive for Gaurikund.
• Visit the way places, start your trek (by walk, horse, pony or dolly on your expense)
• To Kedarnath. (Helicopter service is also available at extra cost).
• Visit Kedarnath Temple and do Darshan & Pooja.
• Overnight stay at Kedarnath.
ABOUT KEDARNATH
Kedarnath is the third stop on the Char Dham Yatra. Located at an altitude of 3,584 meters, Kedarnath is situated in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. The shrine is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
– Temple: The Kedarnath temple is an ancient structure, built by the Pandavas.
– Mandakini River: Kedarnath is situated on the banks of the Mandakini River.
– Pooja and Rituals: Pilgrims offer prayers and perform rituals at the temple, including the sacred Shiva Abhishekam.
DAY 08 - KEDARNATH (16 KMS TREK/ 8-9 HOURS) TO GAURIKUND - GUPTKASHI /SITAPUR.
• Morning after breakfast checkout from hotel/ camp Kedarnath.
• Via visit from Kedarnath Nath Ghati and Himalaya view.
• Come back to Sitapur/ Guptkashi check in your hotel.
• Overnight stay at hotel Sitapur/ Guptkashi.
DAY 09 – GUPTKASHI /SITAPUR - BADRINATH.
• Morning after breakfast, checkout from hotel &start Drive for Badrinath.
• Visit the way sight scenes and reached at Badrinath.
• Visit Badrinath Temple & Do pooja & Rituals.
• Check in hotel & Overnight stay at Badrinath.
ABOUT BADRINATH
Badrinath is the fourth and final stop on the Char Dham Yatra. Located at an altitude of 3,133 meters, Badrinath is situated in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. The shrine is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
– Temple: The Badrinath temple is a 9th-century structure, built by the Adi Shankaracharya.
– Alaknanda River: Badrinath is situated on the banks of the Alaknanda River.
– Pooja and Rituals: Pilgrims offer prayers and perform rituals at the temple, including the sacred Vishnu Puja.
DAY 10 – BADRINATH - PIPALKOTI/JOSHIMATH
• Morning after breakfast, checkout from hotel &start Drive for
Pipalkoti/Joshimath.
• Visit the way sight scenes and reached at Pipalkoti.
• Check in hotel & Overnight stay at Pipalkoti/Joshimath.
DAY 11 – PIPALKOTI /JOSHIMATH - HARIDWAR.
• Morning after breakfast, checkout from hotel &start Drive towards Haridwar via
Rishikesh.
• Visit the sight scenes like Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Geeta bhavan etc. at Rishikesh
• Reached at Haridwar& Overnight stay at Haridwar.
DAY 12- HARIDWAR.
• Morning after breakfast, check out from your hotel. At 11:30 am
• Drive towards Delhi Railway station/ bus stand.
• Dropping you at Railway station/ Bus stand.
• Here completed your memorable & beautiful journey of char Dham with us.
